As part of this presentation, aspects related to the prevention, evaluation, and intervention of suicidal behaviors in Hispanic and Latine populations are addressed and defined, with special attention to cultural factors that may influence the risk or protection of suicide for Hispanic and Latine youth. Culturally sensitive intervention practices for this population will also be discussed.
