As part of this Care-to-Share NC Network hybrid event, presenters will discuss integrating methods of community-engaged scholarship with the field of Developmental Science. Participants will discuss the opportunities of this integration, hear lessons from scholars seasoned in this work, learn about new collaborations from the viewpoint of community partners and emerging scholars and try out tools helpful for scholars and community partners in North Carolina to build successful relationships.
As part of the event, the H/LBH CoE will join the panel discussion titled Growing Partnerships, assisted by Dr. Andrea Hussong, who will interview Dr. Dalal Saaf (Psychology and Neuroscience—UNC-CH), Dr. Juan Prandoni (El Futuro, Durham), and Dr. Erick Senior Rogés (H/LBH CoE).
Facilitated by faculty at UNC-Chapel Hill and UNC Greensboro, the event is anticipated to include faculty and graduate students from our programs and various departments (psychology, HDFS, nursing, education, public health, etc.).
