At HLBH CoE, we are committed to providing instructive resource materials and guidelines. These products are invaluable for providers, trainers, trainees, and students involved in mental and behavioral health practices. Our goal is to empower professionals with the knowledge and tools they need to offer culturally sensitive care to Hispanic and Latino communities.
This session highlights two innovative initiatives that demonstrate how leadership, culture, and operational design intersect to strengthen behavioral health access and reduce behavioral health stigma in community settings. Presenters will share lessons from the renaming and transformation of a community psychiatry clinic, as well as the expansion of behavioral health services through extended hours. Together, these projects illustrate practical strategies for organizational change, leadership in action, and culturally responsive care. Participants will gain insights they can adapt within their own agencies and systems.
Esta sesión destaca dos iniciativas innovadoras que demuestran cómo el liderazgo, la cultura y el diseño operativo se entrelazan para fortalecer el acceso a la salud conductual y reducir el estigma en entornos comunitarios. Los presentadores compartirán lecciones aprendidas del cambio de nombre y la transformación de una clínica de psiquiatría comunitaria, así como de la expansión de los servicios de salud conductual mediante un horario extendido.
