She is currently the Outreach and Engagement Manager at the Hispanic/Latino Behavioral Health Center of Excellence, having previously served as Lead Technology Transfer Specialist and Opioid Projects Coordinator at the Institute of Research, Education, and Services in Addiction (IRESA) of the Universidad Central del Caribe. She holds a Master's degree of Health Sciences in Professional Counseling with a specialization in Substance Use Disorders (SUD) from the Universidad Central del Caribe, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She has contributed to research on mental health and addiction, including work with the FDI Research Foundation in Puerto Rico for Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health studies. She is also certified as a Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) instructor and is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Education with a specialization in Professional Counseling at the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico.
