The HLBH Coe is dedicated to supporting the dissemination and implementation of community informed behavioral health information and practices that help enhance service delivery and bridge access to quality behavioral health services for H/L populations. We aim to increase the capacity of providers and organizations offering behavioral health best practices that have been proven to be effective and designed to be sensitive to their needs and experiences.  

H/LBH CoE delivers educational materials on how to work with and conduct outreach with H/L communities including on the impact of culture and historical trauma, on mental health and the provision behavioral health services. Materials and resources are made available on specialized topics such as trauma informed care, individual and family therapy approaches, substance use and recovery-oriented interventions, language access provision and peer to peer strategies and support.
