Our Center attended the National Federation of Families (NFF) Annual Conference, where we hosted an information booth to share resources and connect with attendees. This year’s event featured over 90 workshops and sessions, highlighting key topics such as Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI), workforce development, and co-occurring mental health and substance use challenges. Engaging with a diverse audience, the team exchanged insights and built connections that emphasized the power of lived experience and innovative solutions to support families. The booth became a hub for meaningful conversations about resilience, advocacy, and navigating complex systems. Inspired and enriched by the conference, the team returned with fresh ideas and a renewed commitment to empowering families in their community.
In addition to hosting an information booth, our Center was honored to present a workshop titled “Culturally Informed Flexible Family Based Treatment for Latine Adolescents: CIFFTA.” This session, led by two of the center’s esteemed consultants, showcased an evidence-based approach designed to meet the unique cultural and familial needs of Latine youth and their families. The workshop provided attendees with practical strategies to integrate culturally informed practices into treatment, sparking insightful discussions among participants. The team was thrilled to see a strong turnout and engage with professionals eager to adapt these methods in their own communities. This opportunity to share expertise and highlight innovative practices further demonstrated the center’s commitment to advancing equitable, family-centered care.
