The Hispanic and Latino Behavioral Health Empowerment and Leadership Academy, Vamos por Más 20242025, has officially come to a close—marking the end of a powerful year of growth, collaboration, and impact.
This year, we had the privilege of working with an incredible group of participants and mentors who brought their lived experiences, knowledge, and passion to the forefront of our shared mission. Through workshops, mentorship, and project development, these community providers leaders demonstrated the critical role of culturally responsive leadership in strengthening behavioral health services for Hispanic and Latino communities. We are deeply grateful for their dedication and vision.
As this year Academy ends, we reflect on the commitment each participant showed—not only in enhancing their leadership skills, but also in uplifting their communities. Their innovation projects leave a lasting mark, and we’re proud of what they’ve accomplished.
The journey doesn’t end here. We are eager to start with the next group and continue supporting Hispanic and Latino service providers who are emerging leaders and are ready to transform their community behavioral health system through innovative projects that respond to the cultural values of their populations. Vamos por más—siempre (We go for more–always).
