Recovery Approaches for Substance Use & Mental Health Disorders in Hispanic and Latino Communities

In collaboration with Addiction Professionals of North Carolina (APNC), we aimed to describe principles of recovery and how they align with the cultural values of Latino populations.

• Discuss possible recovery management approaches when working with Latine populations.
• Describe the Multiple Pathways of Wellness and Recovery.
• Address the significance of disparities in behavioral health outcomes, such as overdose rates among men of color, within recovery management strategies.
