Family and Culture as Protective Factors for Behavioral Health Disorders among Hispanic/Latino Youth

April 10, 2025 | 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

We will offer simultaneous interpretation to Spanish.

Join us for a dynamic virtual session exploring how family support and cultural identity serve as powerful protective factors against behavioral health disorders among Hispanic/Latino youth. This session will highlight the strengths embedded in cultural values, traditions, and community connections that promote resilience and overall well-being. Additionally, the session will address how parents—and educators, where appropriate—can effectively support the healthy development and early learning of Latino children, with a focus on early childhood.

Designed for behavioral health professionals, educators, and community stakeholders, this event will provide culturally responsive insights and practical strategies to strengthen support systems for Hispanic/Latino youth.
