Dr. Michelle Evans, a licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Sex Offender Treatment Provider and Evaluator, has dedicated her career to working within the Latino community. Her extensive experience includes roles as a hospital administrator and bilingual forensic evaluator and treatment provider. Presently, she serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Elgin Mental Health Center, a state forensic psychiatric hospital in Elgin, Illinois.
In her private practice at Nickerson & Associates, PC, Dr. Evans specializes in evaluating and treating adults and adolescents dealing with sexual and drug addictions and offensive behavior. She also teaches at Aurora University and the University of Chicago. Throughout her journey, Dr. Evans has remained a fervent advocate for justice, and cultural awareness within her institutions. Her unwavering commitment to mental health and social justice is a testament to her dedication to improving lives and fostering positive change.
